GUJRAT, Jan 03 (APP):Police intensified operations against drug dealers and arms holders in Kharian and adjoining areas, arresting eight suspects and recovering narcotics, liquor and a weapon.
According to a police spokesperson, in Kharian Circle, police arrested a suspect, Imran Zareef, and recovered five litres of liquor. Meanwhile, Saddar Kharian police arrested two suspects, Ali Raza and Adnan, and seized 12 litres of liquor.
City Jalalpur Jattan police arrested two suspects, Inamullah and Muhammad Ali alias Danish and recovered over one kilogram of ice, 1,270 grams of hashish and drug paraphernalia.
In Sarai Alamgir Circle, City Sarai Alamgir police arrested two suspects. Police recovered 40 litres of liquor from Ejaz Masih, while a pistol was seized from Muhammad Nabeel.
Separately, City Lalamusa police arrested liquor supplier Rustam Abbas and recovered 10 litres of liquor.
