Culture of tolerance must be promoted in country; Governor Punjab

RAWALPINDI, Jan 03 (APP): Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Saturday emphasized the promotion of tolerance and peace which he noted were the core lesson of life and times of Hazrat Ali (R.A). He said that by following the teachings of Hazrat Ali (R.A.), we can achieve success in this world and the hereafter.
He remarked this while addressing at a ceremony which was organized in Rawalpindi on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali (R.A.). Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan attended the event as a special guest while attendees included Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and leaders from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Special prayers were offered for the country’s security and progress.
The Governor underlined the importance to educate the younger generation about the teachings of Hazrat Ali (R.A.).
He further said that in 2025, Pakistan delivered a crushing defeat to India in the battle for truth. He added that everyone must play their role together for Pakistan’s progress.
