LAHORE, Jan 03 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated the nation and the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on the successful test of its locally-developed Taimur Weapon System, terming it a major milestone in strengthening the country’s defence capability.
In her message, the CM paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army as well as the scientists and engineers whose dedicated efforts made the achievement possible.
The chief minister said the successful testing of the Taimur Weapon System, capable of accurately striking both land and sea targets up to a range of 600 kilometres, reflects Pakistan’s growing self-reliance in defence technology and would further enhance the nation’s deterrence and security.
