KARACHI, Jan 02 (APP):Six ships, MSC Susanna, Mohammad M, Andro Meda, Sea Ray, Al-Diab-II and Benue scheduled to load/offload Container, Polymers bags, Rice, Palm oil, LPG and LNG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose-1&2, Grain Cargo Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan Gas Port Terminal respectively on Thursday, Meanwhile six more ships, Kouros Diamond, Haven, Marina Aman, Maya Gas-1, Al-Wakrah and Zola scheduled to load/offload Cement, Palm oil, LPG, LNG and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours,
out of them four ships, Venus-9, Unity Maria, Minamoto and Al-Diab-II are expected to sail on Friday.
Cargo volume of 205,833 tonnes, comprising 135,637 tonnes imports cargo and 70,196 export cargo carried in 5,495 Containers (2,051 TEUs Imports & 3,444 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Norse Iwashi, Shan Ying Zho, Trimmu-3, Al-Wakrah and Zola & another ship ‘Zhou Yue Yang’ are carrying Steel Coil, Mogas, LPG, LNG, Coal and Container are expected to take berths at MW-1, FOTCO, SSGC, EETL, PIBT and QICT on Friday.
