Rawalpindi Khidmat Centres served over 1.3 mln citizens in 2025

RAWALPINDI, Jan 02 (APP):The Khidmat Centres of Rawalpindi Police provided facilitation to more than 1.3 million citizens during 2025, with users giving 100 per cent positive feedback on service delivery, according to an annual performance report released on Friday.
The report said a total of 1,324,100 citizens availed services from the Khidmat Markaz network across Rawalpindi District during the year.
It said 75,144 citizens obtained police character certificates, while 90,994 availed general police verification services. A total of 251,002 citizens received new driving licences, 257,598 obtained learner driving licences, and 151,507 had their learner licences renewed.
According to the report, 3,221 international driving licences were issued, while 6,585 licences from other districts were renewed. In addition, 1,884 duplicate driving licences were issued.
The Khidmat Centres also facilitated 2,017 citizens with copies of first information reports, while 630 missing persons reports were registered. A further 615 citizens completed tenant and employee registration.
A Rawalpindi Police spokesman said a state-of-the-art Khidmat Markaz at Liaquat Bagh and 10 other centres were operational across the district to ensure accessible public services.
City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani said the provision of efficient public services was a top priority in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Shairif and Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar. He said facilitation through both police stations and Khidmat Markaz centres would continue to ensure improved service delivery.
The spokesman said the Rawalpindi Police remained committed to further strengthening citizen-focused services across the district.
