ISLAMABAD, Jan 01 (APP): The 11th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Championships 2025 matches continued here at PTF Tennis Complex on Thursday.
The championship is organised annually to commemorate the memory of late Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan, mother of Senator Salim Saifullah Khan (Patron-PTF).
Pakistan’s leading players, including Muzammil Murtaza, Aqeel Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Barkatullah, Yousaf Khalil, Ahmad Nael Qureshi, Hamza Roman, Mahin Aftab Qureshi, Meheq Khokhar, Amna Ali Qayum, Sheeza Sajid, and Soha Ali, are participating in the tournament.
Over 250 entries have been received nationwide in the following categories: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies Singles, Boys’ 18 & Under Singles, Boys’ 14 & Under Singles, Girl’s 14 & Under Singles and Boys’ 12 & Under Singles.
Results: Men’s Singles Qualifying 2nd Round: Heera Asiq beat Aqil Khan 8-2; Inam Qadir bt M.Rohan 8-1; Abdul Basit beat Adan Khan 8-4; Ahmed Babr beat M.Ahmed 8-1; Rayan Khan beat Bilal Qadir 8-0; Faizan Fayyaz beat M.Ayyan 8-0; Idrees Saqib beat Ahsan Ali 8-2; Hassan Usmani beat Mustafa 8-0; Ibrahim Bin Sohail beat Mamoon 8-3. The main draw matches will start tomorrow at 9:30 am.
