PESHAWAR, Jan 01 (APP): Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) on Thursday restored on 83 rains affected feeders in its region.
The supply of electricity was restored after PESCO Chief Akhtar Hamid Khan has directed operations teams to restore electricity immediately, says a press release.
Repair work is ongoing on the remaining 64 feeders on which power supply will be restored soon.
A total of 147 PESCO feeders were shut down due to yesterday rain. Power transmission was affected in Swat, Khyber, Mardan, and Swabi.
PESCO operations teams began repair work as soon as the rain stopped. The consumers are requested to report power outages by calling 118.
