SARGODHGA, Jan 01 (APP):A major progress review meeting was held in Bhakkar, during which Deputy Director of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Syed Muhammad Asif Jahangir, and CEO (DEA) Madam Shazia Tauseef were briefed on the Educational Scholarship Program.
The meeting included a detailed review of the program’s progress to date. Participants also discussed challenges faced by the Compliance Monitoring Team in schools, along with a thorough examination of attendance reports of enrolled children.
It was emphasized that educational scholarship benefits must be delivered to deserving families in a timely manner, with particular focus on ensuring regular school attendance of beneficiary children.
Deputy Director BISP, Muhammad Asif Jahangir Gilani, appreciated the full cooperation of the District Education Department Bhakkar and the teaching staff, and extended special gratitude to the CEO Education Bhakkar.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutual coordination and enhancing the monitoring mechanism to further improve the effectiveness of the Educational Scholarship Program.
The meeting reflected the strong resolve of the Government of Pakistan and relevant institutions to work collectively for a brighter future for children, the promotion of education, and the development of a dignified society.
