LARKANA, Dec 31 (APP):Due to heavy rainfall in Larkana city last night, the Municipal Corporation team promptly accelerated its operations on the instructions of Mayor Larkana, Advocate Anwar Ali Luhur. The staff remained in the field throughout the night to address difficulties faced by citizens during and after the rain.
The Municipal Corporation timely supplied fuel to the disposal stations (water pumps) in various areas of the city. The disposal pumps were kept operational through generators to manage the emergency situation.
Mayor Larkana directed the concerned officers to ensure immediate drainage of rainwater, with special attention paid to the low-lying areas of the city. Municipal teams remained continuously engaged in the drainage process.
Mayor Larkana clarified that citizen convenience is the top priority of the Municipal Corporation, and all available resources are being utilized during the rains. He also directed the Town Chairmen, Union Committee Chairmen, and concerned officers and staff to remain alert until the situation returns completely to normal.
