SIALKOT, Dec 30 (APP):A delegation from Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) participated in a two-day orientation and training session organized by the Women Development Department (WDD), Government of Punjab,in Lahore on Tuesday.
According to spokesperson,the GCWUS delegation included Focal Person Dr. Samia Naeem-Focal Person,Momina Noor–bassador; and Zainab Zulfiqar & Shamal Zahra,who were selected as finalists in the prestigious Pitch Competition.
The competition saw more than 400 entries, with Zainab and Shamal standing out as two of the 54 finalists.
According to a release from the university,the delegation benefited from expert mentorship, leadership training, and entrepreneurial skills,all aimed at empowering the students to become influential voices of change within their communities.
The university expressed its commitment to preparing students with the necessary tools for personal and professional development, emphasizing the importance of women’s leadership in the modern world.
