RAWALPINDI, Dec 30 (APP):The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) hosted a business interaction session with Maria Arif, a UK Conservative Party leader, entrepreneur and former Sutton Central by-election candidate, aimed at promoting bilateral trade and investment ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
The session, held on Monday, focused on enhancing UK–Pakistan business collaboration, exploring investment opportunities and promoting franchise development, with participants highlighting the potential for new trade avenues and strategic partnerships.
In his welcome address, RCCI President Usman Shaukat lauded Maria Arif’s efforts to promote entrepreneurship and the branding and marketing of Pakistani products in the UK. He assured the chamber’s full support for attracting foreign investment and facilitating joint ventures with Pakistani companies.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed on the occasion to promote Pakistani businesses in overseas markets.
