ISLAMABAD, Dec 29 (APP): The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration urged the citizens to complete registration without delay as only two days remaining before action starts against vehicles without M-Tag.
Authorities have asked vehicle owners to visit the M-Tag Center at Shakarparian Parade Ground to avoid long queues and last-minute problems as the deadline approaches.
Officials said the final days before enforcement usually bring a sharp increase in visitors at M-Tag centers. To manage the expected rush, arrangements at the Shakarparian Parade Ground center have been improved so that people can be facilitated in less time. Extra counters and staff have been deployed to speed up the process and reduce waiting hours.
According to the administration, the M-Tag system is being enforced to regulate vehicle entry and improve traffic management in the federal capital. From the announced date, vehicles without M-Tag will not be allowed to enter designated areas, and action will be taken against violators. Citizens have been reminded that no relaxation will be given once enforcement begins.
Officials further stated that visiting the center early will help people avoid inconvenience. They urged citizens not to wait until the last day, as heavy crowds could cause delays despite improved arrangements. Vehicle owners have also been advised to bring required documents to ensure smooth processing.
The administration said that cooperation from the public is essential for the successful implementation of the system. Citizens were encouraged to follow instructions and complete M-Tag installation within the remaining time.
Authorities reiterated that the Shakarparian Parade Ground M-Tag Center is fully operational and capable of handling a large number of applicants daily. People have been requested to plan their visit in advance and complete the process as soon as possible to avoid penalties and restrictions after the deadline.
