ISLAMABAD, Dec 29 (APP): A large number of automobile enthusiasts and prospective buyers thronged Haval’s enclosure at the PakWheels Auto Show, which showcased cutting-edge technology and the latest developments in the automobile industry.
The show, organized by PakWheels in the federal capital on Sunday, aimed to bring leading local and international car manufacturers under one roof to display their latest models equipped with advanced features.
Haval emerged as the most popular brand at the event, drawing massive crowds and becoming the top choice among visitors.
Haval’s enclosure remained busy throughout the day, conducting more than 200 free test drives in a single day—a record for the brand at such an event.
In addition, the company showcased Pakistan’s largest New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup, including the Haval H6 PHEV and the premium Tank 500.
Most visitors showed keen interest in the Haval H6 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), noting its cutting-edge Hi-4 intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, 4.8-second acceleration, and impressive pure EV range.
It may be mentioned that the event capped a significant year for GWM Pakistan, which recently celebrated the production of its 25,000th vehicle in the country.
Talking to APP, Haval representative Rehan Zafar said it was an honour to witness the strong trust shown by consumers in Haval’s vehicle range compared to competitors.
“Over 200 free test drives were conducted, which is a record. We are highly satisfied with the overwhelming response, which reflects the success of the event,” he said.
He attributed the brand’s popularity to its experienced team and vehicles offering advanced features, modern design, spacious luggage capacity, comfortable steering, smooth transmission, comfortable seating, and improved fuel efficiency and performance.
He also thanked visitors for their appreciation and support, reaffirming the company’s commitment to continue providing improved, value-for-money vehicles in the future.
Visitors admired the combination of modern features and affordability as the key reason behind the brand’s popularity, leading to several on-the-spot bookings during the show.
One visitor told APP that after exploring all the brands on display, Haval stood out for offering the best balance of modern features and value. “The company has designed its cars while keeping the interests and preferences of people in mind,” he said.
“I took a test drive, which was very exciting. I booked a car on the spot and plan to complete the purchase by visiting the Haval Experience outlet at I-9/3,” he added, recommending others to visit Haval showrooms for a worthwhile purchase.
