MULTAN, Dec 29 (APP):Commissioner Multan, Amir Kareem Khan, on Monday inspected the ongoing work on Multan Avenue, a Rs 2.89 billion project that is under execution to give Multaniites a most modern city road with people-friendly allied facilities within a few months.
During the visit, commissioner assessed the pace and quality of construction work and issued instructions to ensure timely completion of the project under all circumstances.
Commissioner Khan emphasized that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of work and directed that modern standards and engineering requirements must not be compromised. Multan Avenue would emerge as a unique, modern, and aesthetically pleasing road, providing citizens with the best and most advanced travel facilities, he added.
Amir Kareem Khan highlighted that the project includes green corridors, designated parking bays, special recreational points for children, and mango orchards, which would not only enhance the beauty of the area but also contribute to a cleaner and greener environment. He added that providing a safe, clean, and eco-friendly atmosphere to citizens remains the top priority of the administration.
Commissioner further instructed all relevant departments to maintain close coordination and submit daily progress reports to ensure transparency and efficiency in project execution. He stressed that work quality must be maintained alongside speed to deliver a sustainable and long-lasting infrastructure project.
SE Highways Ghulam Nabi and XEN Haider Ali accompanied the commissioner during the visit and briefed him on the progress and technical aspects of the project.
