BAHAWALPUR, Dec 28 (APP):Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has emphasized the need to promote technology-based education to achieve the goals of progress and prosperity for the country.
He visited the classrooms of the Faculty of Computing and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology to review ongoing academic activities and assess educational progress. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor interacted with faculty members and students, observed teaching methodologies, and reviewed the implementation of the curriculum in line with modern educational standards.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran appreciated the dedication of the teaching staff and stressed the importance of outcome-based education, practical learning, research integration, and the effective use of modern technology in classrooms. He also highlighted the need to align academic programs with emerging industry demands, innovation, and national development priorities.
The Vice Chancellor encouraged students to actively engage in academic and research activities, develop strong problem-solving skills, and uphold discipline and academic integrity. He assured full institutional support for strengthening laboratories, improving learning resources, and fostering a research-oriented academic environment.
