KARACHI, Dec 27 (APP): Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori paid glowing tribute to the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her 18th martyrdom anniversary.
In a statement on Saturday, he said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto devoted her entire life to the protection of the constitution, democracy, and the rights of the people.
The Governor of Sindh stated that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto also holds the honour of being the first elected woman Prime Minister of the Muslim world, and her vision remains a guiding light for the women of Pakistan.
He further said that her unwavering struggle for public service and democracy will always be commendable, and her sacrifices shall remain preserved in the history.
Kamran Khan Tessori said that her historic role in women’s empowerment and leadership is unforgettable. She is a great example of principled politics and strengthening democracy, which even her opponents acknowledge.
He added that her martyrdom caused an irreparable loss to Pakistan’s democratic politics, however, her role in the stability of democracy will be written in golden letters in history.
The Governor of Sindh expressed the resolve that the nation will always remember her sacrifices and services.
