SUKKUR, Dec 27 (APP):Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, expressed satisfaction over the preparations to commemorate Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s anniversary.
He said Balochistan CM, KP Governor, Punjab Governor, and Azad Kashmir PM will also attend the ceremony.
Talking to Media on Saturday, he stated Sukkur has received many projects under PPP, and more are needed. Sukkur Barrage is closed for repairs, he added.
Replying to a question regarding PTI founder’s jail transfer, the CM said, “I don’t know.” He added that PTI doesn’t speak straightforwardly and should be realistic.
He criticized those maligning the country abroad, saying, “Empty threats won’t work.” He highlighted flood relief efforts, stating over 1 million houses built, and more underway.
He further said that the Sindh govt is distributing solar homes for affordable electricity, with 1.6 million already distributed. In phase 2, 250,000 households will get free electricity.
In Tharparkar, bills are paid for those consuming under 100 units, he said.
