SARGODHA, Dec 26 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Division, Jahanzaib Awan, chaired a meeting on Friday to assess the progress of key initiatives, including the Punjab Social Economic Registry (PSER), anti-illegal petrol pump actions, Afghan repatriation, and urban beautification efforts.
According to a spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sargodha, Captain (R) Muhammad Waseem, reported 86% completion of PSER work, with monitoring of wedding halls underway.
DC Mianwali, Asad Abbas, confirmed 95% completion, while Khushab and Bhakkar reported similar progress.
XEN FESCO Mazhar Malik briefed the meeting on ongoing city beautification projects.
The Commissioner emphasized strict enforcement against illegal petrol pumps and called for faster, transparent Afghan repatriation.
The Clean Water Authority also reported that 74 out of 85 filtration plants were operational.
Commissioner directed that nighttime labor shifts be arranged to minimize disruptions during ongoing works.
