MULTAN, Dec 26 (APP): The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG Control Task Force on Friday intensified its crackdown on gas theft, disconnecting three gas meters in different parts of the city.
According to SNGPL officials, two of the disconnected meters, which had been tampered with by consumers, were successfully recovered.
One meter was found installed upside down and was removed during the operation.
In addition,a door-to-door inspection of 55 consumers was carried out as part of the effort to curb illegal activities.
These actions were part of SNGPL’s ongoing commitment to combat gas theft and ensure uninterrupted,high-quality service for all legitimate consumers.
The company has pledged to continue its efforts in safeguarding its infrastructure and maintaining fair access to resources.
