RAWALPINDI, Dec 25 (APP):The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) on Thursday held a graceful ceremony to mark Christmas, bringing together officials and members of the Christian community in a spirit of unity and festivity.
The event was attended by Deputy CEO Nasir Kamal, Chief Engineer Atiq ur Rehman, Secretary Cantonment Board Imran Habib, Chief Public Health Officer Nasir Hussain, RCB staff members and representatives from the Christian community.
During the ceremony, speakers highlighted the significance of Christmas and its universal messages of peace, love, and brotherhood.
Deputy CEO Nasir Kamal, while addressing the gathering, emphasized that festivals across all religions carry messages of peace and love, the values shared by every faith. He described the Christian community as an important and integral part of the organization’s strength, playing a vital role in its success.
He further extended his prayers to the Christian community, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants, and stated that the happiness of the Christian community is the happiness of everyone.
Gifts and prizes were distributed among the attendees. The ceremony concluded with a Christmas cake-cutting, followed by warm Christmas greetings and best wishes to the Christian community.
