ISLAMABAD, Dec 24 (APP): Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan on Wednesday said that on the birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the whole nation remembers a visionary leader who changed the destiny of millions and guided the Muslims of the Subcontinent toward freedom, dignity and a distinct national identity.
In his message on the occasion of Quaid-i-Azam Day, the federal minister highlighted that Quaid-i-Azam was not only the leader of the Muslims of the subcontinent but also a universal champion of religious freedom, constitutionalism, rule of law, and equality.
“Despite fragile health and immense personal sacrifice, he remained steadfast in his struggle for a separate homeland, driven solely by his commitment to securing a better future for generations to come. His guiding principle remains relevant, our foreign policy is one of friendliness and goodwill towards all the nations of the world.”
He said that as we reflect on Quaid’s foresight, we are reminded that the freedoms and dignity we enjoy today are the result of his unwavering stand on fundamental rights. It is our collective responsibility to uphold his principles, strengthen our institutions, protect the rights of all citizens, and work together for unity, progress, and harmony, in accordance with the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Aleem Khan concluded.
