Alkidmat distributes food packages among 300 minority families

PESHAWAR, Dec 24 (APP):Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (AKF KP) distributed 300 food packages among minority deserving families in Peshawar.
The distribution ceremony was held at St. John’s Cathedral Church.
Addressing the gathering, President AKF KP, Khalid Waqas, said that the foundation has been dedicated to serving humanity. “The foundation is working selflessly for suffering humanity and is making every possible effort to provide basic necessities of life to needy and deserving individuals from minority communities,” he added.
Among those present at the ceremony were Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Khalil, former president AKF KP, Pervez Masih, former member National Assembly; Javed Gill, provincial president Jamaat-e-Islami’s Minority Wing, Muhammad Wasim, senior program manager AKF KP, Noor-ul-Wahid Jadoon, provincial media manager; Nasir Munir, provincial general secretary Minority Wing; Nasir Minto, district president minority; and Daniel Samuel, along with other organizational officials.
The speakers noted that AKF has, for the past 25 years, consistently distributed food packages to underprivileged Christian families in Peshawar on the occasion of Christmas, enabling them to celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy.
The food packages were distributed among minority families from Peshawar, Charsadda, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera and District Khyber.
Each package included essential food items such as flour, cooking oil (ghee), sugar, rice and lentils.
