DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 24 (APP):A meeting was held to review the progress of construction work on police stations and police check posts in the districts of Dera Ismail Khan and Tank.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera range, Syed Ashfaq Anwar, chaired the meeting.
According to a police spokesman, the meeting held at the regional police office was attended by District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Sahibzada Sajjad Ahmed, and DPO Tank, Shabbir Hussain.
Both district police chiefs briefed the RPO phase-wise on the ongoing construction projects in their respective districts, highlighting progress, timelines, and challenges.
During the meeting, RPO Syed Ashfaq Anwar directed that strict monitoring of all construction activities must be ensured and warned that any negligence or delay would not be tolerated.
He emphasized maintaining high standards of quality, transparency, and pace in the construction of police infrastructure.
The RPO instructed that all projects should be completed within the stipulated time frame and in accordance with approved specifications.
He said that improved police infrastructure played a vital role in enhancing the operational capacity of the police force and was essential for providing better and safer services to the public.
He added that strengthening police facilities would not only improve working conditions for police personnel but also help build public trust in the police department.
