ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday for various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to IESCO spokesperson, the power supply of different feeders and grid stations would remain suspended from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Islamabad Circle, including Jinnah Avenue, G-6, Mehfooz Shaheed, Service Road East, Zia Masjid , Kund Rajgan, Marvi, Tumair, F-10/3, G-9 Markaz , I-8/3, New I-10/1, New I-10/2, G-13/4 Extension, D-12/1, Park View, Treat, Nih, Scheme-2, Kuri, Rehara, Cm Pak Zong, Chak Shahzad, King Hamad Univesity, Tramri, Comset, Chatha Bakhtawar feeders.
In the Rawalpindi City Circle, power suspension during the same hours will affect Raja Sultan, National Market, Muzammil Town, Al-Noor Colony, Farooq-E-Azam, Gulzar-E-Quaid, A/Block, Zafar-Ul-Haq, Dhoke Khabba, Major Masood, Sarafa Bazar, Gawalmandi, Westridge, Khayaban-E-Sir Syed, Bagh Sardaran, Misrial Road, Allama Iqbal, Dk: Choudrian, Capt: Amir Shaheed, Bhadana, Eighteen, I-14-3, Ratta, Railway Colony feeders.
Similarly, feeders in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, Pakistan Railway, Adam Jee Road, Mecca Chowk, River Garden-Ii, Mohra Nagial, Gulistan Colony, Park View, Dheri Hassan Abad, Adyala, Hayal, Girja-1, Choungi-No-22, Chakri, Spd, Mansoor Shaheed, Rcci-Iii, Lehtrar-I, Kallar Syedan, Hamid Jhangi, Kalyam, Sukho, Ramman, Bhaal feeders, in Attock Circle, Nawajis Shaheed, Faisal Hills-1, Faisal Hills-2, Saifiya Town, Millat Colony, Cabinat Division, Pmc, Munir Abad, Hassanabdal, Burhan, Shah Der, Khanzada, Gbhp Cly, Shamsabad, Qazi Abad, Hattian, Gbc-3, Nartopa, Peoples Colony (Triple Circuit), Mari (Triple Circuit), Shakardara (Triple Circuit), D.I.Colony, Dk; Fateh, Katchery, Dilawar Abad, Muslim Town, Hafizabad, Moorat, Narra, Parri, Kamrial, Gul Muhammad, Chabb, Bahtar feeders will also remain without electricity during scheduled hours.
In Chakwal Circle, Kot Chaudhrian, Line Park, Mengan, Islamia Chowk, Jand Awan, Dhudial Express, Latifal, Khanpur, Saigalabad, Pinwal, Dandot, Dharyala Jalip, Dalwal, Tobha, P.D.Khan, Abdullah Pur, Kot Gullah, Kot Shera, Pichnand, Talagang City, Jhatla, Pera Fatihal, Thoa Mehram Khan, Dhermond, Khuian, Cwo, Jalal Pur, Saghar Pur Feeders, Jhelum Circle, F-5 ( Jada), Langer Pur, Mandi Bhalwal, Puran, F.9 (Chak Daulat), Bong-Ii, Madu Kalas, New Domeli, Sohan, Khai Kulia, Co Muhammad Akram, Gujar Khan, Bhai Khan, Mal Awan, Dora Badhal, Qazian feeders will remain closed.
Meanwhile, in the GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in Exchange, I-10 Sector, Furnace, Kh.S.Syed, P.T.N, United.Steel, Hayal, Girja-1, Qureshi Abad, A-Sector, Bandral, C-Sector, Sang, Jari Kass. Additionally, feeders in B-Sector, F-Sector, Shah Pur, Mangla Metal feeders and surrounding areas will face outages from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
IESCO management has apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers and stated that electricity supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
