ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP): A two-day leadership training workshop for women journalists kicked off here on Tuesday.
The workshop was organized by the Institute for Research, Advocacy, and Development (IRADA) in collaboration with the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), aiming to strengthen leadership skills and professional capacity among women working in the media sector.
The agenda of the workshop included sessions on the foundations of leadership and navigating power structures, understanding leadership roles within newsrooms, fostering supportive and inclusive workplaces, ensuring safety, and becoming a visible and effective leader.
The workshop concluded with an interactive reflection session, during which participants shared their experiences and key takeaways, highlighting the importance of leadership development and mutual support among women journalists.
