ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, on Tuesday strongly condemned the firing on a police vehicle in District Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which five police personnel were martyred, calling the attack an assault on national peace, law enforcement, and the stability of the country.
Engineer Amir Muqam expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of the police officials who laid down their lives in the line of duty. He said the brave officers made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting citizens and maintaining law and order in a region that has faced repeated security challenges.
The Federal Minister offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and strength for their bereaved families. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen officers, assuring them of the government’s full support during this difficult time.
Condemning the attack in the strongest possible terms, Amir Muqam said such cowardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of the state or the morale of security forces. “These sacrifices will not go in vain,” he said, adding that the nation owes a debt of gratitude to its police and security personnel who continue to stand on the front lines against violence and extremism.
Muqam emphasized that targeting law enforcement personnel is a direct attack on peace and public safety, and vowed that those responsible for the incident would be brought to justice.
He urged law enforcement agencies to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent such incidents in the future.
“The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs,” he said, reaffirming the government’s commitment to defeating all forces that seek to destabilize the country. He reiterated that the sacrifices of police personnel strengthen the country’s resolve to maintain peace and security.
