ISLAMABAD, Dec 22 (APP): President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), Taha Ayhan, accompanied by Director General of ICYF, Yunus met with Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar at her office on Monday.
During the meeting, the ICYF delegation shared an update on the forum’s ongoing initiatives in the areas of education, youth development, and professional training across OIC member states. The discussions highlighted ICYF’s efforts to strengthen education systems and promote youth empowerment through targeted training programs, said a press release.
Both sides explored possible opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest, with a particular focus on skill-based training initiatives aimed at enhancing employability and capacity building of youth.
Wajiha Qamar appreciated ICYF’s contributions towards youth-focused education and training and expressed the government’s interest in exploring practical avenues of cooperation, especially in the field of skills development aligned with national priorities.
The meeting concluded with an understanding to continue engagement and work towards identifying concrete areas of collaboration in education and skill-based training programs.
