CHINIOT, Dec 19 (APP):Federal Minister for Investment Board Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Friday held an open court in Chiniot, which was attended by a large number of people. District representatives of all federal institutions and relevant in-charge officers were also present in the open court.
On this occasion, Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh listened to the problems of the citizens in detail and took practical steps on the spot for their immediate resolution. On several requests, he contacted the district officers on the telephone and got the public problems resolved immediately, on which the citizens expressed satisfaction.
Speaking on the occasion, the Federal Minister said that the federal government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is following the agenda of public service, transparent governance, and fast performance. He said that the current government has successfully launched several projects for controlling inflation, economic stability, promoting investment, creating employment opportunities, and public welfare in a short period of time.
The Federal Minister said that due to the effective policies of the government, signs of improvement in the economy are becoming visible, while open courts, online complaint systems, and field visits have been made more active to resolve public problems.
He directed the district officers that no negligence will be tolerated in the timely redressal of public complaints and that citizens should be provided with their legitimate rights at their doorsteps.
At the end of the open court, the participants appreciated the people-friendly attitude of the Federal Minister and the performance of the government, calling this initiative an important step towards restoring public trust.
