MIRPUR, Dec 19 (APP):A delegation from the IBA Center for Executive Education (IBA CEE) and the ADRIC team met with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis late Thursday to discuss strategic collaboration aimed at empowering the people of AJK through structured capacity-building initiatives, it was officially said.
“The meeting focused on how IBA CEE can work in partnership with the Government of AJK to deliver capacity-building programs across various disciplines, supporting skills development, institutional strengthening, and human capital growth in the region,” an APP AJK Correspondent reports, quoting authoritative official sources of the AJK government.
The Prime Minister, while assuring an integrated plan soon for the empowerment of the AJK people through the bilateral capacity-building programs, reaffirmed strong support for ADRIC’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and mediation initiatives, highlighting the importance of mediation awareness for the general public. With the support of the government and judiciary, these initiatives aim to promote peaceful dispute resolution and strengthen access to justice.
The meeting was also attended by Inland and Finance Minister Qasim Majeed, Higher Education Minister Zafar Iqbal, and Director General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs Aamir Zeeshan Jaral.
The IBA CEE & ADRIC delegation included Syed Bulent Sohail, Head of Programs, ADRIC; Syed Bilal Ahmed, Manager, IBA CEE; and representatives from Nukhba (ADRIC), according to the sources.
