Screening of “Jinnah Se Quaid” held at DHA Suffah University

KARACHI, Dec 19 (APP): The Press Information Department (PID), in collaboration with Pakistan Television (PTV), organized a screening of the abridged version of “Jinnah Se Quaid” at DHA Suffa University, here on Friday, with the objective of instilling national values, historical awareness, and civic responsibility among the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, the head of the Department of Social Sciences, DHA Suffa University, emphasized the importance of reconnecting students with Pakistan’s ideological foundations. He said such initiatives help young minds understand the vision, leadership, and principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and encourage critical thinking as well as responsible citizenship.
Addressing the gathering, Director General PID, Mrs. Irum Tanweer, stressed the need to engage youth through meaningful content and strong national narratives. She said connecting with the youth requires presenting our history in a relatable and contemporary format. She added that the narrative-building has been lost over time and must be revived through collaboration between educational institutions and state media.” Mrs. Tanweer further stated, “PID and PTV are committed to using storytelling as a powerful tool to strengthen national cohesion and awareness among students.”
The event concluded with the screening of the abridged documentary, which was well received by the students. Participants shared positive feedback, stating that “the film provided a clear and inspiring understanding of the journey of Quaid-e-Azam and its relevance for today’s Pakistan.”
