LAHORE, Dec 18 (APP): Progress has been made in the plan to install e-gates for immigration at 3 major airports of the country.
According to official sources, e-gates will be installed at the FIA departure and arrival counters and initially this facility will be provided at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad airports. The location for installing e-gates at Karachi Airport has been determined.
E-gates will be installed at the FIA immigration counters, which will help passengers save time.
FIA, Airports Authority and NADRA are working together on this project, the sources said.
