ISLAMABAD, Dec 18 (APP): The Islamabad Cycling Association (ICA), in collaboration with the Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF), is organizing the Annual Tour of Islamabad, scheduled to be held from December 19 to 21 in Islamabad and adjoining regions.
This three-day flagship cycling event will feature a structured blend of competitive races and engagement activities, including master classes and cyclist meet-ups, said a press release.
For professional riders, the competition calendar includes a Time Trial from Islamabad to Manol 2nd day from Islamabad to Muree and on 3rd day 150-km Road Race, designed to test endurance, speed, and technical capability.
All units affiliated with the Pakistan Cycling Federation are participating in the Tour. A key highlight of this year’s event is the participation of the Pakistan Army Cycling Team, which is competing in event time in  strengthening the competitive field and elevating the event’s national profile.
Event Schedule:
Day 1 (19 December): Time Trial up to zoo to Pir Sohawa.
Day 2 (20 December): Road segment from Islamabad to Murree.
Day 3 (21 December): 144-kilometer Road Cycling Race at B-1 Approximately 110 Men and women cyclists from 4 promincs, SSGC, Pakistan Army and  individual are participating in the Tour, along with independent cycling enthusiasts who have also registered for the event.
The Tour is being led by Ahsan Raza, Organizing Secretary, who is coordinating closely with national-level leadership to ensure smooth and seamless execution. The Pakistan Cycling Federation Secretariat, with full support from the Pakistan Sports Board, CDA, Health Department, traffic department and other relevant institutions, is providing comprehensive
logistical and administrative assistance.
The Pakistan Cycling Federation extends its sincere appreciation to all partner departments—particularly the Traffic Police—for their comprehensive cooperation in ensuring safety, route management, and overall event success.
All participating teams have arrived in Islamabad. The Tour of Islamabad will commence at 8am on Friday.
