ATTOCK, Dec 17 (APP): Police, along with other law enforcement agencies, conducted a mock anti-terrorism exercise at Cadet College Hasanabdal on Wednesday.
Personnel from the Quick Response Force, Counter-Terrorism Department, Elite Force, and police participated in the drill to check their preparedness and ability to cope with any untoward incident, besides educating the staff and students on how to evacuate the premises in case of an emergency, said officials.
During the mock drill, a group of armed men streaked across the cadet college ground, charging down a hallway and conducting classroom breaches. However, the security personnel downed the intruders and seized their weapons. Subdivisional Police Officer DSP Yasir Matloob Kiyani informed newsmen that the main objective of the drill was to check security forces’ response and preparedness in the event of an emergency.
