ISLAMABAD, Dec 17 (APP):Pakistan’s ICT export remittances surged to $ 1.799 billion, registering 18.5 per cent increase during the first five months of FY 2025-26.
This growth underscores the ICT sector’s increasing importance in Pakistan’s economic landscape, said a press release issued here Wednesday.
With US$ 356 million in ICT services exports for November 2025 alone, and a trade surplus of US$ 1.583 billion, the sector is outperforming others, highlighting its role as a major driver of digital economic growth.
The Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MoITT) continues to strengthen policies and reforms that empower Pakistan’s digital economy.
