Commissioner conducts surprise visit to BISE Office

RAWALPINDI, Dec 17 (APP): Commissioner Rawalpindi and Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, Engineer Aamir Khattak, made an unannounced visit to the board office on Wednesday to oversee preparations for the upcoming examinations.
Accompanied by Additional Commissioner and Focal Person for BISE Rawalpindi, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Khan, the chairman inspected staff attendance and reviewed arrangements for the Matric (SSC) First Annual Examinations 2026.
During the visit, he stressed that there would be no compromise on merit and transparency in the examination process, affirming a strict policy against any irregularities.
The inspection was followed by a high-level meeting chaired by the commissioner, attended by Secretary Board Amjad Iqbal Khattak, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan and other senior officials. The meeting reviewed examination preparations, discipline, attendance systems and service delivery improvements.
Speaking to the officials, the commissioner emphasized that upholding the institution’s reputation and providing quality services to the public remain top priorities. He instructed all staff to perform their duties with honesty and dedication, adding that strict disciplinary action would be taken against anyone found violating standard operating procedures.
