ISLAMABAD, Dec 17 (APP):Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officers and officials attended a special refresher training course at the Islamabad Police Academy to enhance their professional skills and improve the safe and effective use of weapons.
An official told APP on Wednesday that a total of 50 FIA officers and officials participated in the training programme. The participants included assistant directors, inspectors, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, head constables and constables.
During the course, the FIA personnel were given practical training on the safe handling of weapons, correct firing techniques and responsible use of arms in operational situations. The sessions focused on improving accuracy, safety awareness and discipline during weapon use.
The official said the purpose of the refresher course was to strengthen operational readiness, professional capacity and responsible performance of FIA officers so that they can effectively handle emergency situations and field operations.
He added that such training programmes play a vital role in improving law enforcement performance and ensuring public safety, and similar capacity-building initiatives will continue in the future.
