RAWALPINDI, Dec 17 (APP):The District Health Authority (DHA) Rawalpindi, in collaboration with the DOPASI Foundation, successfully convened a high-level workshop today titled “Empowering Healthcare Providers from Prevention.”
Held at the meeting hall of the District Health Development Centre (DHDC), the workshop was aimed at strengthening the capacity of frontline health leadership in preventive healthcare strategies.
The session brought together critical stakeholders from across the district’s healthcare infrastructure. Attendees included the District TB Control Officer, as well as Focal Persons from Tehsil Headquarters (THQs) Hospitals and Rural Health Centers (RHCs) throughout District Rawalpindi.
The primary objective of the workshop was to shift the focus from curative to preventive care, equipping focal persons with the necessary tools and knowledge to implement robust disease prevention protocols at the grassroots level.
The epeakers reiterated that capacity building for healthcare providers is a top priority for the Health & Population Department.
By collaborating with development partners like the DOPASI Foundation, the DHA ensures that medical staff at RHCs and THQs are aligned with national health goals regarding disease surveillance and control.
