PESHAWAR, Dec 16 (APP):n Tuesday met with the families of forces martyrs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who were martyred in the cowardly Indian attack of May 2025.
In a statement here, he said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs and will provide them with full support at every step.
The Chief Minister announced an additional Rs. 5 million on top of the already cabinet-approved Rs. 5 million for the families of the martyrs.
He also announced an increase in financial assistance for personnel from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa injured in the war, raising it from Rs. 1 million to Rs. 2.5 million.
The CM said the timeless sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are a guarantee of the security of the country and the nation.
“A martyr never dies on the path of truth as martyrdom is the highest and most exemplary form of death for a Muslim,” said Sohail Afridi.
He said the martyrs are our pride, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will take complete care of their families.
