ISLAMABAD, Dec 15 (APP):Parliamentary Secretary to the Federal Government and Member of National Assembly (MNA), Anwarul Haq Chaudhry, on Monday held a meeting with newly appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC), Tayyab Khan to review development, beautification and public projects in Shakargarh and Zafarwal.
According to a press release here on Monday, MNA welcomed DC Tayyab Khan on assuming charge of his post and held a detailed meeting with him to review the ongoing and proposed development projects in Shakargarh and Zafarwal tehsils. In particular, urban beautification, improvement of roads, fancy lights, green belts, parks, sanitation systems and projects to enhance the beauty of public places were discussed.

Along with this, other key matters were also discussed, including medical facilities at government hospitals and other medical centers.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq said that provision of health, education and basic facilities is among the top priorities of the federal and provincial governments.
He urged the DC to complete the ongoing development projects with transparency, quality and within the stipulated time so that the people can benefit at the earliest.
On this occasion, he appreciated the role of the district administration and said that cooperation between the administration and elected representatives is very important in solving public problems.
DC Narowal, Tayyab Khan, thanked Chaudhry Anwarul Haq for his visit and assured that the district administration would take all possible steps for public welfare, monitoring of development projects and improvement of civic amenities.
He said that the pace of development works in all areas of the district, including Shakargarh and Zafarwal, will be further accelerated.
At the end of the meeting, both personalities expressed their common commitment to public service, overall development of Narowal district and making Shakargarh and Zafarwal a model area.
