QUETTA, Dec 15 (APP): Nawabzada Jaffer Khan Magsi win the top spot in the Prepared Category in the 21st edition of the historic Jhal Magsi Desert Challenge Jeep Rally concluded on Sunday with a thrilling showcase of speed, endurance, and skill.
Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, attended the closing ceremony as chief guest, underscoring the prestige of one of Pakistan’s most celebrated off-road racing events.
Nawabzada Jaffer Khan Magsi completed the challenging desert track in record time, securing the winner’s trophy.
In recognition of the racers’ courage and talent, Governor Mandokhail announced a collective cash prize of Rs. 10 million.
The event drew thousands of spectators and notable leaders, including Federal Minister Nawabzada Khalid Magsi, Federal Minister for Commerce Mir Jam Kamal, and MNA Nawabzada Amir Khan Magsi.
In his address, Governor Mandokhail hailed the rally as a grand success, praising both organizers and participants. He emphasized that such events not only spotlight the skill of Pakistani racers but also showcase the tourism potential of Balochistan’s rugged and captivating landscapes.
The Governor distributed trophies and prizes across multiple categories, reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to supporting both traditional and modern sports that unite communities and promote national pride.
