Rescue 1122 response to 210 Emergencies last week

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 15 (APP):Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded to 210 different emergency incidents during the last week, providing medical assistance to 208 individuals.
According to the spokesman, these operations were carried out under the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Tayyab Abdullah and Director Operations South Region Imran Khan Yousafzai, under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Bilal Afridi.
He said that a total of 2,814 phone calls were received during the week, including 1,338 fake and non-emergency calls, while 1,267 were informational calls.
According to the weekly report, Rescue 1122 responded to 179 medical emergencies, 22 road traffic accidents, 6 incidents involving fights and firearm injuries, and 2 fire incidents.
 The affected individuals were provided with first aid on the spot and later shifted to hospitals.
In addition, Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded to 64 emergencies under it’s referral service.
Of these, 12 patients were transferred within the district, while 52 patients were shifted from one district to another.
 A total of 68 patients benefited from the referral service, the report added.
