MULTAN, Dec 14 (APP):At least two people, including a woman and a youth, were killed in two separate road accidents reported last night.
According to Rescue officials, an overspeeding car struck a 30-year-old woman pedestrian while she was crossing the road near Kayanpur Chowk. The woman sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot. Upon receiving information, Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital. The police concerned were investigating the incident.
In another incident, an overspeeding vehicle hit a motorcycle near Science and Technology College, Naag Shah Chowk. The motorcyclist sustained fatal head injuries and died at the scene. The deceased was identified as 17-year-old Gulzaib, son of Abdul Wahid. The driver of the unidentified vehicle managed to fled the scene. Rescue teams shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital, while further investigation was underway.
