ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP):The seventh iteration of the three-day Grand National Olive Gala 2025 will commence here at F-9 Park from December 12-14 under the auspices of the Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) and the Olive Culture Scale Up Project.
The Grand National Olive Gala 2025 will showcase Pakistan’s growing olive industry, bringing together farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers and policymakers from across the country, a news release said.
The initiative reflects the continued cooperation between Pakistan and Italy to advance sustainable agriculture, enhance value addition, and promote climate-resilient rural development.
Supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented through CIHEAM Bari, the Olive Culture Scale Up Project aims to strengthen every link of the olive value chain from cultivation and processing to marketing and export while empowering women and youth in olive-producing regions.
The Olive Gala will serve as a national platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and policy dialogue to further position Pakistan as a competitive player in the regional olive market.
