Under the agreement, training in tourism and hospitality will be expanded through the “ITHM on Wheels” programme to align instruction with modern industry requirements and create professional opportunities for local youth, officials said.
Senior officials from both institutions, along with private-sector experts, attended the ceremony and described the partnership as a milestone for skills development and socio-economic progress in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, participants said the MoU would help bridge the skilled human resource gap in the tourism sector and provide practical, hands-on training to young people from Murree and surrounding areas, enabling them to compete at national and international levels.
They paid tribute to the leadership and vision of the TDCP managing director for playing a key role in translating the initiative into action to promote tourism and community development.
