ISLAMABAD, Dec 07 (APP):Sadequain Foundation, in collaboration with Gallery 21 and the Alliance Française d’Islamabad, would host a special screening of the short documentary “Raaz-e-Fun Sadequain” on December 12 (Friday).

The 30-minute film produced by SADEQUAIN Foundation explores the life, philosophy, and artistic legacy of Sadequain (1930–1987), one of Pakistan’s most celebrated and influential painters. Presented as a world-class documentary, Raaz-e-Fun delves into the mysteries behind Sadequain’s creative journey, shedding light on his unique style, prolific work ethic, and enduring cultural impact.
The event will take place at the Alliance Française d’Islamabad, where art enthusiasts, students, and admirers of Sadequain’s work are invited to gather for an insightful cinematic experience.
Talking to APP, Zohaib Ch, Director Planning and Promotion at the Pakistan Sadequain Foundation, described the film as a tribute to the legendary artist—“a figure whose legacy remains eternal.”
He added that the Foundation looks forward to welcoming art enthusiasts, students, and the wider community to this special screening dedicated to one of Pakistan’s greatest artistic icons.
The screening is open to the public, and will run from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
It is pertinent to mention here that SADEQUAIN foundation Established in 2007, SADEQUAIN Foundation is dedicated to discovering, preserving, and promoting Sadequain’s legacy. It has published more than 35 books on Sadequain’s life and work, and curated more than 100 seminars and exhibitions.
