HYDERABAD, Dec 06 (APP):The 6th Meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the University of Art and Culture, Jamshoro was held on Saturday at the UAC Conference Room under the chairmanship of Prof. Abdul Ghaffar Daudpoto, the Vice Chancellor of the University.
The meeting formally commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Mufti Sadaruddin Indhar, Controller of Examination, UAC.
The honorable Members and Officials; Prof. Dr. A.Q. Mughal, Prof. Tahmina Soomrani, Prof. Ar. Jawed Makhdoom, Prof. Abdul Rahman Siyal, Nadir Ali Jamali, Hisamuddin Mirani, Ms. Zahida Abro, Dr. Sohaib Ahmad, Deputy Director QEC and Adv. Dhani Bux Solangi, Secretary / Registrar attended the Meeting.
The Board reviewed and discussed the official agenda, including Confirmation of the minutes of the 5th BoG Meeting,
Adoption of mandatory certifications and internship components in undergraduate programs; Approval of the revised BS Architecture curriculum as circulated by HEC on 11 February 2025,
presentation of the progress report on the aftermath of the CIEC Sindh HEC visit dated 07-03-2024, Report regarding the 10th round of CIEC inspections scheduled for central Sindh universities; approval of the “Manual of the University of Art and Culture, Jamshoro” and Review of the University’s collaborations with local, national, and international institutions
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to academic excellence, transparency, and institutional development aligned with national higher education standards.
