C&W minister reviews progress of road restoration programme-II

LAHORE, Dec 06 (APP): Punjab Minister for Communication & Works (C&W) Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth chaired a meeting on the Road Restoration Programme-II, where officials of the C&W Department briefed him on the progress of ongoing projects across the province.
The meeting was informed that 31 schemes have been completed while work on 41 others is progressing rapidly. Restoration work on 31 roads has been completed in Lahore, Murree, Hafizabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, and Sahiwal, while construction on 41 schemes continues in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lahore, D.G. Khan, and Faisalabad divisions.
Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth directed officials to ensure the early completion of all ongoing schemes. He said that alongside development initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab, the Road Restoration Programme is moving forward with full speed, marking historic improvements in the province’s road infrastructure.
