WAH CANTT, Dec 6 (APP): A ceremony was held at Wah Saddar Police Station on Saturday to honor Constable Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah, who was martyred in the line of duty during an encounter with armed robbers on June 12, 2025.
SP Potohar Talha Wali laid floral wreaths at the memorial constructed in the constable’s honor and offered prayers for the elevation of his ranks in the hereafter as well as for the peace and security of the country. The memorial has been established by the Wah Saddar Police Station to acknowledge the bravery and sacrifice of the martyred officer.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Potohar Talha Wali said that police martyrs are the nation’s benefactors and their sacrifices are a source of pride for the entire country. He added that the Rawalpindi police have rendered invaluable sacrifices for the protection of citizens, and the honor of carrying forward their legacy is a trust bestowed upon the force.
He said that the martyrs who laid down their lives for the safety and survival of the nation will always be remembered with respect and gratitude.
