LARKANA, Dec 06(APP): The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore visited Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto on Saturday, where he paid respects at the graves of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto and other martyrs. He laid floral wreaths and offered prayers.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said that the credit for the Pakistan People’s Party government in Azad Kashmir goes to Asif Ali Zardari, who has always stood by the Kashmiri people.

He said that the journey which began in 2021 with 11 seats has now reached 29 seats, and this is the result of public trust and the hard work of the leadership. He added that although the PPP government had a short tenure, whenever it had the opportunity, it raised a strong voice for the rights of the people. He said that we are people living on the LoC, with the Indian army standing in front of us, yet the people of Azad Kashmir have always stood firm like a strong wall. He said that the next general elections will be held in 2026, and this government will serve as a trailer for those elections.

He claimed that from 2026 to 2031 there will be a PPP government in Azad Kashmir, and the next Prime Minister of Pakistan will be Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto fought for the rights of Kashmiris and had said that even if we have to fight India for a thousand years, we will continue the struggle and give freedom to Kashmiris. Keeping this mission alive, former Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto also continued the struggle for Kashmiris, and under the same mission, Chairman of the PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also struggling for Kashmir.

He further said that the bond between Pakistan and Kashmir is very strong, and the streets of Kashmir echo with the slogan, “We are Pakistanis.”

He added that there were many issues in the state, movements were launched, and people took to the streets, but when Bilawal Bhutto placed trust, the government was formed, and now people’s sentiments have changed. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that as soon as the PPP government assumed power, the Sehat Card (Health Card) was issued, and many development projects will also be announced soon.

On the occasion, members of his cabinet, MPA Suhail Anwar Siyal, Commissioner Larkana Division Tahir Hussain Sangi, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Dr. Sherjeel Noor Channa, Chairman District Council Larkana Ejaz Ahmed Leghari, office bearers, and a large number of party workers were also present.
