LAHORE, Dec 05 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday granted a 10-day physical remand of two PTI social media activists in a case related to the October 5 protest and violence against police.
Admin Judge Manzer Ali Gill presided over the hearing, during which the accused — Agha Sheikh Sarwar and Rai Ghulam Ali — were produced by Shafiqabad Police Station’s investigating officer, Inspector Akhtar.
The investigation officer informed the court that both men had been identified during an identification parade conducted in jail and sought their physical remand for further investigation. opposed
The defence counsel opposed the remand, saying that his clients were falsely implicated in the case.
The court approved the police request and ordered that the accused be produced again on December 15.
The FIR related to the incident is registered at Shafiqabad Police Station.
